Finnish Goat Cheese – Grand Reserve (12 Months)
This Grand Reserve goat cheese from Finland is a rare example of a well-aged, hard goat cheese.
Produced by Juustoportti and matured for around 12 months, it develops a firm texture and a full, well-balanced flavour.
During ageing, the rind is regularly brushed with salt water, allowing the cheese to mature slowly and evenly. The result is a rich and rounded taste, with subtle aromas of nuts, vanilla, and cream. The goat’s milk character is present but gentle, making this cheese approachable as well as distinctive.
An excellent choice for a cheese board, where it stands out for its depth and elegance, and a great option for those looking to explore something different within the world of goat cheese.
Please note: all cheese portions are hand-cut, so the final weight may vary slightly from the selected amount.
