🧀 How to Store Your Cheese

To keep your cheese fresh and full of flavor, here’s how to store it properly — whether it’s a hard Gouda or a soft Brie.

🟡 Hard Cheeses (like Gouda)

  • We deliver all hard cheeses vacuum-sealed to lock in flavor and extend shelf life.

  • After opening, use the special cheese paper we include. It protects the cheese while allowing it to breathe, keeping the texture and taste just right 4–7°C.

  • 3 days after opening, take it out of the vacuum pack and re-wrap it in cheese paper.

Soft Cheeses (like Brie)

  • Soft cheeses are delivered in protective plastic packaging.

  • Once opened, store soft cheese in a glass or ceramic container in the fridge. This keeps it fresh while preventing it from drying out.

General Tips

  • Let your cheese rest at room temperature for 30–60 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
  • A little surface mold on hard cheese? cut it off and enjoy the rest.
  • Always re-wrap cheese after each use, ideally in cheese paper.
