Thank you for shopping at Zelta Siers. Below you will find important information regarding shipping, delivery, parcel collection, and product care after dispatch or delivery.


📍 Shipping Area

We currently ship orders within Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

For orders within Latvia, we offer selected delivery and parcel pick-up services as displayed at checkout.

For orders to Lithuania and Estonia, we currently ship only with DPD.


💳 Shipping Costs

  • Free delivery may be offered where stated on our website.
  • Applicable shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout.

⏳ Processing Time

  • Orders are usually processed and dispatched on the same or next working day.
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are generally processed on the next working day.

Processing times are estimates only and may vary during busy periods, promotional periods, holiday periods, or where operational circumstances require additional handling time.


🚚 Delivery Time

  • Estimated delivery time is usually 1–3 working days after dispatch, depending on destination and carrier service.
  • Once your order has been shipped, you may receive tracking information from the relevant delivery provider.

All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by courier delays, seasonal demand, weather conditions, public holidays, technical issues, customs-related handling where applicable, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party logistics providers, including DPD and any other delivery or parcel service made available at checkout for orders within Latvia.


🌡️ Seasonal Shipping and Temperature-Sensitive Deliveries

Because many of our products are food products and may be sensitive to high or low temperatures, we may display seasonal shipping notices on our website, including on product pages, in the cart, or during checkout, especially during warmer summer periods or colder winter periods.

Where such notice is displayed, we may provide additional shipping guidance in order to help customers choose the most suitable available delivery option and reduce the risk of exposure to unsuitable temperatures.

Any such recommendation is provided as practical guidance only and does not constitute a guarantee that a particular delivery method will fully prevent temperature-related risks during transport, storage in a parcel terminal, or after delivery.

Customers remain responsible for selecting a suitable delivery method from the options offered at checkout and for collecting the parcel promptly once it has been delivered or made available for collection.


📦 Parcel Collection Responsibility

To help preserve freshness and product quality, customers should collect their parcel as soon as possible after receiving notification that it has been delivered or is ready for collection.

This is particularly important for food products delivered to parcel machines or pick-up points. Leaving a parcel uncollected for an extended period may negatively affect product quality.

Once an order has been delivered, made available for collection, or placed in a parcel machine or pick-up point, the customer is responsible for collecting it without undue delay and for storing the products appropriately thereafter.

We are not responsible for deterioration in quality caused by delayed collection, prolonged storage in a parcel terminal, exposure to unsuitable temperatures after delivery or after the parcel has been made available for collection, failure to refrigerate, or other improper storage or handling after that point.


🏬 In-Store Pickup

You may also choose to collect your order directly from our shop, where this option is offered at checkout.

🧀 Perishable Products

Many of our products, including cheese and other food items, are perishable or liable to deteriorate rapidly. For that reason, proper delivery selection, prompt collection, and correct storage are essential to help maintain product quality.
